QUALITY TRAINING

Train for the Work. Prepare for the Standard.

Good training should do more than explain a requirement. It should help people understand how that requirement applies to the work they do every day.

InnerLAB provides customized quality training built around your organization, your customer requirements, and the needs of your team.

Training can be provided at your facility or ours and tailored to the people in the room.

ILLUSTRATIVE EXAMPLE
CUSTOMER REQUIREMENT · FLOW-DOWN

A requirement may call for

Applicable customer requirements must be carried through to sub-tier suppliers when their work is affected, including relevant specifications, purchase-order requirements, and required approvals.

What it actually means

Requirements do not stop at your door. If a customer requirement applies to work performed by a sub-tier supplier, the applicable requirement needs to follow the work.

How it applies to the work

Before a sub-tier purchase order is released, the requirements received from the customer are reviewed and the applicable ones are flowed down, including any approvals or controls the supplier is expected to maintain.

What an auditor may verify

An auditor may select a sub-tier purchase order, trace applicable customer requirements into it, and verify that required approvals or controls were addressed.

PERSONNEL QUALIFICATION · FINAL ACCEPTANCE

A requirement may call for

Personnel performing acceptance activities must be appropriately qualified for the work they perform, with current qualification records maintained and available for review.

What it actually means

An acceptance record is only meaningful when the person performing the acceptance was properly qualified for the work at the time it was performed.

How it applies to the work

Before an inspector performs or signs an acceptance activity, the organization confirms that the person’s qualification covers the applicable method, level, and work, and that required supporting records are current.

What an auditor may verify

An auditor may select a recent acceptance record, identify who performed or signed the activity, and trace that person back to the applicable qualification records to confirm they were current at the time.

MEASUREMENT CONTROL · CALIBRATION

A requirement may call for

Equipment used to make acceptance decisions must be controlled through defined calibration intervals, appropriate traceability, visible calibration status, and action when equipment becomes overdue or is found out of tolerance.

What it actually means

If an instrument helps determine whether product passes or fails, its calibration status has to mean something in practice — not just on a spreadsheet.

How it applies to the work

The equipment is identified, its calibration status is current and visible, and overdue equipment is kept out of use. If a unit is found out of tolerance, the organization evaluates whether previous acceptance decisions may have been affected.

What an auditor may verify

An auditor may trace an instrument from the work area back to its calibration record, confirm its current status, and review how the organization handled a previous out-of-tolerance condition.

REQUIREMENT IN. UNDERSTANDING OUT.
QUALITY TRAINING

Turn Requirements Into Understanding.

Quality requirements can be complex. Applying them correctly takes more than reading a procedure or working through a presentation.

Our training focuses on helping your team understand the requirements, recognize why they matter, and apply that knowledge in real working situations.

COURSE

Auditing Training

A good auditor needs to know more than what questions to ask.

InnerLAB provides practical auditing training that helps personnel understand how to prepare for and conduct effective audits, follow the evidence, recognize gaps, and communicate findings clearly.

The goal is to help your team look beyond the checklist and understand what the system is actually telling them.

COURSE

GD&T Training

Drawings are only useful when the people working with them understand what they communicate.

Our GD&T training helps personnel strengthen their understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing and become more confident interpreting and applying drawing requirements.

Training can be tailored to the experience level and needs of your team.

COURSE

Design Review Training

Problems are easier to address before they reach production.

InnerLAB helps engineering and quality personnel develop a more effective approach to design reviews by looking closely at drawings, specifications, customer requirements, inspection needs, and other details that can affect the work later.

The objective is simple: ask the right questions earlier.

INSTRUCTOR TRAINING

Knowing It and Teaching It Are Two Different Skills.

Technical experience makes someone knowledgeable. It doesn’t automatically make them an effective instructor.

InnerLAB helps instructors improve the way they organize technical information, explain requirements, and communicate with personnel at different levels of experience.

The goal is not just to deliver the material. It’s to make sure the people in the room understand it.

CUSTOMIZED TRAINING

Built Around Your Team.

Every organization is different, and every group comes into training with a different level of experience. That’s why InnerLAB training can be tailored around your:

Customer Requirements

Training can focus on the requirements that matter to your organization and the customers you support.

Internal Processes

When appropriate, training can be connected to the procedures and processes your team works with every day.

Personnel Experience

Content can be adjusted based on who is attending and what they already know.

Training Goals

Whether you’re developing new personnel, strengthening an existing team, or addressing a specific area of concern, the training is built around what you need to accomplish.

PRACTICAL BY DESIGN

Training Your Team Can Actually Use.

The value of training isn’t what happens in the classroom. It’s what happens afterward.

Your team should leave with a better understanding of the subject, greater confidence in what they’re doing, and knowledge they can apply when they return to work.

That’s what InnerLAB training is built to provide.
